TER - TOUR EUROPEAN RALLY 2017


Art. 1 -
DEFINITION AND ORGANIZATION

 

1.1 - In 2017 the Tour European Rally Promoter will organise a series named 2017 Tour European Rally (TER). The series will be governed according to the International Sporting Code (ISC) and its Appendixes, the FIA Regional Rally Sporting Regulations, the National Regulations of the Countries in which the Rallies are held, plus the present regulations.

 

 

Art. 2 - EVENTS CALENDAR


2.1 - The events valid for the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally are:

- Rally Transilvania – Romania – 5/6 May 2017

- Kenotek Ypres Rally – Belgium – 23/24 June 2017

- Rally Vinho Madeira - Madeira, Portugal - 3/5 August 2017

- Skoda Rallye Liezen – Austria – 29/30 September 2017

- Rallye International du Valais – Switzerland – 26/28 October 2017

- Tuscan Rewind – Italy – 24/26 November 2017



Art. 3 – ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS AND DRIVERS

 

3.1 – Holders of NATIONAL A (or higher degree) or 'R' or international licences will be admitted to the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally Series, in accordance with the 2017 International Sporting Licences Regulations. The TER2 Cup will be reserved to drivers under 26 (i.e. born after 01/01/1991) using R2 cars.

 

 

Art. 4 - ELIGIBLE VEHICLES

 

4.1 – The 2017 TER – Tour European Rally is reserved to vehicles complying with the following standards:
- Vehicles with active homologation or allowed to take part in 2017 national and international rallies (except World Rally Championship) under Article 2.7.1.. c) of the ISC.


 

Art. 5 – SERIES REGISTRATION AND SCORING REGULATIONS

 

5.1 – In the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally registration for the Series and for the TER2 Cup will be free of charge, it will be possible to register until the posting of the start list of each rally.


5.2 - In the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally, there is no minimum number of participants required for any given TER scheduled event.


5.3 - For the final standings, all the results will be considered.


5.4 - In the event of two or more drivers being tied on points at any time during the season, the driver having set the fastest time in the most stages will be considered as being the leader.


5.5 – Fuel is free, but must comply with the supplementary regulation of the event.

 

5.6 – Tyres must comply with FIA Regulations, and the maximum number of tyres allowed will be specified in the supplementary regulations of each event.

 

Art. 6 – QUALIFYING STAGE

 

6.1 – The 2017 TER – Tour European Rally events may hold a "Qualifying Stage", followed by the choice of the start positions. This should be preceeded by a free practice session on the same stage, with two practice runs allowed per each crew. Organisers who choose to hold a “Qualifying Stage” will specify further details in the event's Supplementary Regulations.

 

Art. 7 - CLASSIFICATION - SCORES FOR EACH RALLY

 

7.1 - In each round, the competitors registered for the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally, will score the following points, according to their result in the events' final classification for drivers registered in the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally:

Note: All the remaining competitors classified from 11th place (included) onwards will also get 1 (one) point.

 

7.2 - In the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally competitors registered for the series will receive additional points as follows:

 

7.2.1 - Each competitor will receive 3 points at the third start in a 2017 TER – Tour European Rally event, 1 further point at the fourth, fifth and sixth start in a 2017 TER – Tour European Rally event, for a maximum of 6 points.

 

7.2.2 – In each event of the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally, before the start of the rally, the TER promoter and the rally organiser will choose one Special Stage of the rally as the “Power Stage”. In this Special Stage the 5 fastest TER competitors, and the 5 fastest TER2 Cup competitors, will collect additional points:

2nd - 4 Points

3rd - 3 Points

4th - 2 Points

5th - 1 Point

 


Art. 8 - CLASSIFICATION OF THE SERIES / CUPS

 

8.1 - In each event of the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally, a dedicated classification acc. Art. 7 will be published comprising only the competitors registered for the series.

 

 

Art. 9 – FINAL PRIZES

9.1. - The Overall winning crew (Driver and Codriver) will be awarded the title of 2017 TER Winner. The prize for the winning crew will be a rally in a Hyundai New Generation i20 R5, within a professional team, on an all costs paid basis.

 

9.2. - The TER2 Cup winning crew (Driver and Codriver) will be awarded the title of 2017 TER2 Cup Winner. The prize for the winning crew will be a rally in a Hyundai New Generation i20 R5, within a professional team, on an all costs paid basis.
