Jesus Ferreiro and Javier Anido winners of the Tour European Rally Historic and the Rallye Rias Altas

Spanish Jesus Ferreiro and Javier Anido on their Ford Escort RS 2000 won the fifth round of the TER H - Tour European Rally Historic and finished at the first position of the overall ranking of the Rallye Rias Altas. From the first stage, Jesus Ferreiro found the right rhythm at the wheel of a perfectly tuned car, leaving his pursuers with only the opportunity to fight for the places of honour, winning seven S.S out of eight in the event.
Antonio Sainz codriven by Javier Martinez-Cattaneo on Subaru Legacy 2.0 Turbo 4WD occupy the second position in the overall classification of the Rallye Rias Altas.
Another Spanish crew also on a Ford Escort RS 2000, Francisco Lopez Rivas codriven by Miguel Pena Vasquez, second in the TER H classification and at the third overall classification of the Rallye Rias Altas. With this classification in the Rallye Rias Altas, Francisco Lopez Rivas was crowned 2019 Spanish Rally Historic Champion.
In the J1/J2 Trophy, it was not a good event for the Spanish Jose Manuel Lopez Castrillon and Jose Valcarcel Herbella with their Ford Sierra Cosworth forced to retire on S.S.4.
Next round of the Tour European Rally Historic will be the 60th Rallye International du Valais from October, 17th to 19th.
