Top Portuguese drivers return to the Tour European Rally in Madeira

In the 2018 edition of Rali Vinho da Madeira, round 4 of the TER - Tour European Series, several strong local drivers have sent their registration for the new concept of rally series.

Miguel Nunes, who finished 3rd in 2016 and was leading the event in 2017 before retiring due to a mechnaical issue halfway through the second leg, will drive a Citroën DS3 R5. José Pedro Fontes, winner of the 2016 edition, returns to TER action with the new Citroën C3 R5 which he took to second place in Rali de Castelo Branco. 

Other TER entries in Madeira include the R5 cars of Paulo Caldeira, Ricardo Teodosio, Joao Barros and Pedro Almeida, with Miguel Correia and Ricardo Gonçalves in the TER 2WD Trophy.  

 

The deadline to register for the TER in RVM, i.e. @ 13:30 local on Friday, August 3rd.
