Madeira, the Pearl of the Atlantic or island of eternal spring, was World Travel Awards 2016 winner for World's Leading Island Destination, is now yours to discover.

Club Sports da Madeira, organized the 1st Tour of Madeira, as tourism promotion and marketing campaign, in 1959. With the unwavering support from the autonomous Regional Government of Madeira on international sporting events to bolster the island’s world brand, Rali Vinho da Madeira (RVM) was first run in 1979 as a FIA ERC event, and remains a top round in the Portuguese and Regional Rally Championships.

RVM is pure passion, fueled with adrenaline. Local and international motorsport lovers gather to witness competitors defy their driving skills on spectacular sinuous mountain asphalt stages and micro climates in a World Heritage setting of sun, sea, and exquisite natural beauty.

The Rally Hall of Fame is filled with unforgettable RVM memories from the European and Trophy Championships but now also Tour European Rally champions.
