Tuscany gravel roads will host the 1st Round of 2020 TER, TER Historic and new eTER with “Rally Città di Arezzo, Crete Senesi, Valtiberina”

After the announcement of Rallye Antibes Cote d’Azur renewal in 2020 Tour European Rally and TER Historic, great news is coming for drivers and fans of the “New Concept of Rally Series”, just when the 2020 calendar is close to be released.

The 2020 Tour European Rally, Tour European Rally Historic and the new eTER - Tour European Rally Alternative Energy will start from Italy in the fantastic Tuscany region, between the historical and turistic cities of Arezzo and Siena.

On the unique gravel roads that in the past hosted WRC Rallye Sanremo and wrote the history of Rally, the “Rally Città di Arezzo, Crete Senesi, Valtiberina” will launch the 2020 season with a great event in a fantastic scenary.

Valtiberina Motorsport, organizer of the event said:  “Valtiberina Motorsport is happy and honored to announce that Rally Città di Arezzo Crete Senesi Valtiberina 2020 will host three very important international championships such as TER - Tour European Rally, TER H - Tour European Rally Historic ed eTER Tour European Rally Alternative Energy, in addition to the important reality of Challenge Pirelli Raceday Rally Terra and the Italian Historic Rally Gravel Championship, the TTRS.
The addition of a European series, that will be broadcasted in more than 100+ countries, represents a new step for the international promotion of the beautiful cities and territories that actively contribute to the project.
We are sincerely excited to host and organize this event, it’ll be a very demanding task, but we feel ready to take on the challenge and we already want to thank everyone that made this possible!
We are glad to announce that the interational exposure favoured the creation of an ‘’all green’’ 1°Rally Città di Arezzo, featuring an international Fia Eco Rally for alternative energy cars, that will take place in March 2020 in parallel with the other events, in the astounding provinces of Arezzo and Siena.”

“We are very proud to announce that the “Rally Città di Arezzo, Crete Senesi, Valtiberina” will be the first event of 2020 Tour European Rally 3 series. It’s an important agreement that we signed with Valtiberina Motorsport, we know the excellent organizational capacity and the passion they have in motorsport. The project has been in our mind for some years and finally we finalized an important step for Tour European Rally.
Personally, “Rally Città di Arezzo, Crete Senesi, Valtiberina” in our series is a great goal for TER project, to start the new season from Tuscany (my home region), with the same special stages I followed for many years in WRC when I was a child, the stages that gave me the passion for motorsport… I’m quite sure that will be an important step for the series and an important collaboration with Valtiberina Motorsport that permits to grow up together…
…so a great appointment awaits drivers and fans in next March 2020”.
