TER - TOUR EUROPEAN RALLY 2020 REGULATIONS

 

Art. 1 - DEFINITION AND ORGANIZATION

1.1 - In 2020 the Tour European Rally Promoter will organise a series named 2020 TER - Tour European Rally. The series will be governed according to the International Sporting Code (ISC) and its Appendixes, the FIA Regional Rally Sporting Regulations, the National Regulations of the Countries in which the Rallies are held, plus the present regulations.

Art. 2 - EVENTS CALENDAR (Updated September 2020)

2.1 - The events valid for the 2020 TER - Tour European Rally are:

- 08/09 August - Rally Città di Arezzo, Crete Senesi e Valtiberina (Italy - Gravel)
- 21/22 August - Rallye de Ferrol (Spain - Tarmac)
- 25/26 September - Transilvania Rally (Romania - Tarmac)
- 13/15 May 2021 - Rallye Antibes Cote d'Azur (France - Tarmac)

- Rallye du Chablais (Switzerland - Tarmac) - CANCELLED 2020 edition - confirmed in 2021 TER
Conxion Omloop van Vlaanderen (Belgium - Tarmac) - CANCELLED 2020 edition - confirmed in 2021 TER


Art. 3 - ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS AND DRIVERS

3.1 - Holders of international licences will be admitted to the 2020 TER - Tour European Rally Series, in accordance with the 2020 International Sporting Licences Regulations. The “TER Junior Championship” will be reserved to drivers under 26 (i.e. born after 01/01/1994) using RC4 R2/Rally4 cars.

Art. 4 - ELIGIBLE VEHICLES

4.1 - The 2020 TER - Tour European Rally is reserved to vehicles complying with the following standards:
- Vehicles with active homologation or allowed to take part in 2020 national and international rallies (except World Rally Championship) under Article 2.7.1.. c) of the ISC.

Art. 5 - SERIES REGISTRATION AND SCORING REGULATIONS

5.1 - In the 2020 TER - Tour European Rally registration for the Series will be free of charge, it will be possible to register until the posting of the start list of each rally.
5.2 - In the 2020 TER - Tour European Rally, there is no minimum number of participants required for any given TER scheduled event.

5.3 - For the final standings, all the results will be considered.
5.4 - In the event of two or more drivers being tied on points at any time during the season, also for the final championship standings, the driver having set the fastest time in most of the stages will be considered as being the leader.
5.5 - Fuel is free, but must comply with the supplementary regulation of the event.
5.6 - Tyres must comply with FIA Regulations, and the maximum number of tyres allowed will be specified in the supplementary regulations of each event.

Art. 6 - QUALIFYING STAGE

6.1 - The 2020 TER - Tour European Rally events may hold a "Qualifying Stage", followed by the choice of the start positions. This should be preceded by a free practice session on the same stage, with two practice runs allowed per each crew. Organisers who choose to hold a “Qualifying Stage” will specify further details in the event's Supplementary Regulations.

Art. 7 - CLASSIFICATION - SCORES FOR EACH RALLY

7.1 - In each round, the competitors registered for the 2020 TER - Tour European Rally, will score the following points, according to their result in the events' final classification for drivers registered in the 2020 TER - Tour European Rally:

TER Championship - TER Junior Championship - TER 2WD Championship - TER Production/RGT/R4K Trophy - TER Ladies Trophy - TER Codriver Trophy

1st - 30 Points
2nd - 24 Points
3rd - 21 Points
4th - 19 Points
5th - 17 Points
6th - 15 Points
7th - 13 Points
8th - 11 Points
9th - 9 Points
10th - 7 Points
11th - 5 Points
12th - 4 Points
13th - 3 Points
14th - 2 Points
15th - 1 Point
All the remaining competitors classified from 16th place (included) onwards will also get 1 (one) point.

7.1.1 - The drivers registered in TER Junior Championship will not take points in TER 2WD Championship.

7.2 - In the 2020 TER - Tour European Rally competitors registered for the series will receive additional points in as follows in Overall and in each category classification:
7.2.1 - Each competitor will receive 3 points at the third start in a 2020 TER - Tour European Rally event, 1 further point at the fourth, fifth and sixth start in a 2020 TER - Tour European Rally event, for a maximum of 6 points.

7.2.2 - In each event of the 2020 TER - Tour European Rally, before the start of the rally, the TER promoter will choose one Special Stage of the rally as the “Power Stage”. In this Special Stage the 5 fastest TER competitors, and the 5 fastest “TER Junior Championship” competitors, will collect additional points:

1st - 5 Points
2nd - 4 Points
3rd - 3 Points
4th - 2 Points
5th - 1 Point

Art. 8 - CLASSIFICATION OF THE SERIES / CUPS

8.1 - In each event of the 2020 TER - Tour European Rally, a dedicated classification will be published comprising only the competitors registered for the series.

 

Art. 9 – FINAL PRIZES

9.1 - The 1st and the 2nd driver of TER overall classification, TER Junior Championship and TER 2WD Championship classification will be awarded the title of 2020 TER champions, 2020 TER Junior Championship champions and 2020 TER 2WD Championship champions.
The 1st and the 2nd driver of TER Production/RGT/R4K Trophy, TER Ladies Trophy and TER Codriver Trophy will be awarded the title of winners 2020 Trophy winners.

Other prizes will be announced.
