The TER Series moves on from Mexico to Rally Montre Japan

02.05.2022

FIA APRC round appointed TER Promo Event.

The TER Series continues its development with another Promo Event.

After Arctic Lapland Rally in Finland, and Rally of Nations Guanajuato in Mexico, another country strongly connected with the History of World Rallying joins the TER project.

Rally Montre, a Japanese round of the FIA Asia Pacific Rally Cup scheduled on 10-12 June, will be the third 2022 TER Promo Event before becoming part of the new TER World Series with a 3-yaer agreement beginning from 2023,

The newest concept of Rally Series is taking another step forward: the TER World Series brings the blend of great sports events and unique tourism locations to a higher dimension, while ensuring an ever-growing global TV promotion and distribution.

Rally Montre, based in the Gunma Safari Park - Tomioka, will see crews tackle 120 kms of sporting action over two days of competition and a total of 10 tarmac stages.

Luca Grilli (TER Promoter and Organiser) said : “I am enthusiastic to announce that our cooperation with Hiroki Arai, one of the TER Ambassadors and Drivers like Hayden Paddon, is delivering great results. Having Japan on board for the new TER World Series, which like the Tour European Rally has received many requests from events, encourages all of us to work even harder to maintain the high standards which are paramount of the TER events.
