Ivan Ares leads the 52. Rallye de Ferrol after the 1st day.

After the 1st Leg of the 3rd round of the 2021 Tour European Rally, the 2019 Rallye de Ferrol winner Ivan Ares, codriven by David Vazquez, leads the standings with his Hyundai i20 R5.
The rally starts and Suárez takes the lead with his koda Fabia Rally2, but a technical problem in the second part of the day, slow down him and he closes the 1st day 3rd in the TER classification, at 38 seconds from Ares.
Solans, 3rd after the specials stage 3 with his Citroën C3 Rally2, had a puncture in the last stage of the day, losing almost 2 minutes.
After the 1st leg, Javier Pardo takes the 2nd TER position and 3rd overall with his Suzuki Swift R4lly S, at 37.8 seconds behind the leader.
In 4th place the other official Suzuki driven by Vinyes, ahead of Vilariño’s Škoda Fabia, who close the top 5 of TER classification.
Alejandro Cachon leads the TER Junior classification and Edgar Vigo the TER 2WD.
5 Special stages await the crews on the 2nd day of the 52th Rallye de Ferrol.
