TER leaders show pace and consistency in Portugal

Alberto Battistolli and Simone Scattolin, winners of Rally Terra Valle del Tevere, the 2022 TER - Tour European Rally opening round, have finished fifth overall in Rally Serras de Fafe - Felgueiras - Cabreira e Boticas.

The crew, with their usual Škoda Fabia Rally2, followed the advice of two-time TER winner Giandomenico Basso and made the most of their experience of the world-famous gravel stages around Fafe to secure fifth overall, posting some top-three stage times including the one on the final test, the iconic Lameirinha Power Stage.
