Top drivers to star in TER round 5 Rallye International du Valais

The entry list of 2017 TER – Tour European Rally round 5 – Rallye International du Valais was published today, and includes several crews registered for the new concept of rallye series.

In the Martigny-based event, the Hyundai New Generation i20 R5 cars of Hyundai Motorsport driver Chewon Lim and series leader Giandomenico Basso will battle against the Ford Fiestas of second placed Bernd Casier, of Sébastien Carron and Jaroslav Orsák, the Škoda Fabias of Olivier Burri, Stefan Göttig and Nicolas Althaus, and the Peugeot 207 S2000 driven by Joël Rappaz.

The TER2 Cup will witness the fight between belgian Joachim Wagemans and danish Simon Vallentin, with local driver Thomas Schmid joining in.

Alongside the TER Production Trophy duel between Heuvel Motorsport team mates Henk Bakkenes and Jim van den Heuvel, the TER 2WD Trophy will see contenders from several countries, anongst which romanian Alexandru Filip, bulgarian Ignat Isaev and portuguese Renato Pita.
