2023 TER Champions take to Tandalò Hill climb for TER Promo Event

The 7th edition of the gravel uphill race in Sardinia on 10-12 November

 

A new TER Promo Event joins the fast-growing family of the newest concept of rally series.

 

The Tandalò Gravel Hill Climb, running its 7th edition in November 2023, is the first uphill race on gravel, for Rally Cars, 4WD, Buggies and Kart Cross, held in the beautiful Mediterranean island of Sardinia. The event route stretches over 5 kms on a wide and fun road near Buddusò, with the start located at Tandalò and the finish in a wind farm.

 

The event organised by Tandalò Motorsport and drivEvent Adventure has quickly earned its rank, and the validity for the Category Italian Championship - Campionato Italiano Velocità su Terra, as well as international affection and recognition. In the 2022 edition, 123 entries were received, representing 9 countries: Belgium, France, Holland, Ireland, Italy, San Marino, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland. Amongst the drivers who raced in Tandalò, 13-time Italian Champion Paolo Andreucci, former WRC Works Driver Gigi Galli, TER Ladies Trophy winner Rachele Somaschini, and many Champions of other disciplines.

 

Showcasing an ideal mix between competitive spirit, passion and friendship, the Cronoscalata su Terra di Tandalò will also give the opportunity to two of the TER Series Champions to challenge each other with cars provided by the event organisation.

 

The TER Series will promote Cronoscalata su Terra di Tandalò as a TER Promo Event; a dedicated crew and staff will be on site throughout the event. Like all TER Promo Events, Arctic Lapland Rally run in January and attended since several years, 2022 Rally Mexico – Rally of Nations Guanajuato and Montre Rally Japan and 2023 Mythical Cars Rally, the Cronoscalata su Terra di Tandalò will benefit from the extensive global TV coverage of the TER Series events.
