Perroud in control in J1/J2, Trolliet inherits Pre81 lead as Zippo retires
The sun is back out for the second day of 2023 TER Historic round 4, in Rallye du Chablais. As the crews tackle the stages south of the host city, Aigle.
Dry conditions suit the BMW M3 of Pascal Perroud and Quentin Marchand, who leads the TER Historic J1/J2 category, ahead of “Lucky”'s Lancia Delta Integrale. Codriven by Fabrizia Pons, the Italian driver set fastest time in stage 10 to reach the mid-day service 14.4 seconds behind the leader. In 3rd place, Pascal Bachmann took a stage win in the 8th test, and with Xavier Machet on the BMW M3 is 4th in class.
In the Pre81 category, last year's TER Historic event winners Guy Troileet and Sébastien Moulin inherited the lead in SS10, after “Zippo” and Denis Piceno's Audi Quattro retired.
